In this episode, I’m chatting with my amazing client Laura from That Eco Lifestyle. We’ve been working together over the last 6 months and have had incredible successes together. Her business journey began when she and her partner were travelling around the world and they were astounded by the amount of plastic pollution blocking up the oceans. She developed a mission to start a business that would help combat the rising plastic and create a more sustainable future. 

 

Laura is sharing her story and why she decided to create sustainable and reusable products, her big long-term goals, overcoming mindset roadblocks and challenges, dealing with comparison to other businesses and her huge wins - including going from 2 to 30 stockists in 6 months and more than doubling her revenue.

 

Laura is an inspiration to business owners and her story is valuable to every entrepreneur starting out and encountering similar challenges.

Clare is passionate about helping others with money, transforming their money mindsets and working with them on their financial challenges. She is very open about sharing her own highs and lows and talks about how she overcame losses through money mindset work where she learned to shift her thinking. 

 

Clare doesn’t think we talk enough about profitability in the small business world and we need to open up the conversation to talk about true profit - not just sales. Clare shares her own strategy of setting out a plan and budget for her business so she can feel confident in the long term growth, investment and revenue. 

 

Clare provides all of her tips for investing in your business, focusing on profitability and changing your money narrative. She is an expert on money and is sharing all of her nuggets of wisdom with you today!

It’s time to stop playing small!

How often do you scale back your goals? 

 

Is being realistic making you play too small? 

 

In this episode, I’m chatting about the mindset surrounding playing small and how it’s limiting you from achieving your biggest dreams. I’ll delve into the fears surrounding failure and other people’s opinions and how they impact our reluctance to set goals that embody our true desires. 

 

Rise above what you think is possible. 

 

One of my client’s had 500% growth last year! Incredible, right? Well, we’ve now set the goal for another 500% growth this year too. If she had only set the goal for 200% growth this year, she’s much more likely to stop pushing when she’s reached this target. 

 

In order to grow, we need to get uncomfortable. I’ve set my own goal this year to reach $1 million cash so I’m going to set every intention towards hitting it.

This is why it’s important to dream BIG

I’m so excited to be sharing with you one of my business stories. This story didn’t end the way I hoped it would but it was a huge win for me because I don’t believe in failures. Through this experience, I grew and learned so much about myself and how I can make my biggest dreams a reality.  

 

In today’s episode, I’m chatting about the lessons and strategies I learned through following my goal to collaborate and work with one of Australia’s biggest retail brands while running my swimwear business back in 2016. 

 

I’m thrilled to be sharing the methods I used throughout this experience so you can try them in your business. These tips have gone on to serve me in my meetings, pitches, negotiations, networking and have helped to push my businesses further. 

 

Firstly, any dream that you have is possible for you. I set my ultimate business goal and I used any path to get there. Remember, you don’t always have to know how or the right way to do something. All you have to know is where you want to end up.
