There are so many challenges involved with building a brand new product based business. From manufacturing, creating an app, and the logistics of shipping large items across the country, Emma shares some of the lessons she learned through these challenges, and how she pushed through the fears that came up during the process. 

 

Emma also shares her advice for anyone in business to maintain an attitude of being open to learning and constantly improving. We also talk about the importance of connecting with likeminded people who align with your business, and not falling into the trap of perfectionism.

Why I DON’T believe in FAILURE

I’m so excited to bring you this episode today and share with you why I DON’T believe in failure.

 

So often in business, we hinge our success on external situations and the actions of other people. But when you understand that YOU are in control of your own life, your perspective on failure and success will completely change.

 

In this episode, I break down why I don’t believe in failure and how it all comes down to aligning your business, dreams, and goals with your values. If your goals don’t align with your values, your subconscious mind sees your goals as a threat, which leads to self-sabotage, procrastination, and the fear of failure.

 

I talk about why it’s so important to understand your core values, both on the conscious and subconscious level, and how this has played out in my business journey. I share how I work with my clients in Business For Life to unearth their subconscious minds and build a business that feels good.

 

When business isn’t going the way you hoped, you’re not making the money you set out to make, or reaching the number of clients you hoped for, you can either dig deep to persevere, face those challenges and keep chasing your dream OR retreat back into safety and comfort and go for something else.

 

Neither option is right or wrong. Neither option is failure or success.

 

It all depends on which option aligns with your core values, which is why it’s so important to do the deep inner work required to understand what you really want out of life.

What I’m witnessing is that people make one post on Instagram and when sales don’t instantly come rolling in, they get deflated.

“My prices must be too high”

 

When we hold on to these negative beliefs, we start not showing up at all. No one is buying because we’re not telling them about our offers. Then we create a narrative about hating sales because it’s too hard.

Instead of passing the blame and looking at all the external reasons why you’re not making sales, it’s time to take ownership. You are in control of all the results in your business.

 

Selling is about having deep belief, and learning how to communicate through potent messaging that speaks to your dream client in a serving and empowering way.
